- By this point you should already have booked in for your 3D scan

Time is precious on scan day as we have plenty of scans to get through, so please go to fit3D.com and set up your account before arriving. Take note of your login email and password as you will have to login to our scan machine using the tablet on the scanner. - Arrive at Club Fitness 5 mins before your time
Come to Club Fitness at 195 Guyton Street, five minutes before your booking time. This will allow time to jump on the traditional scales before the 3D scan. Time slots are fully booked so please do not be late. - Wear underwear for your scan for best results
The 3D scan machine gives best scan if you are wearing underwear. Do not wear baggy clothing as it will mean we have to ask you to come back to do the scan again. If you choose to wear tights, they should not be compression tights. In 8 weeks, you’ll need to wear the same thing. - Remove shoes and socks before scanning
Do not wear shoes or socks on the 3D scan machine. Make sure your feet are on the foot plate before starting the scan. - No hair on the neck before the scan
Any hair on the neck will mess with your scan and cause it to fail or not calculate. - Try to avoid exercise for 2 hours before your scan and take note of your conditions
Try to avoid exercise for 2 hours before your scan. Please also take note of your scan conditions so that you can mimic them for your final scan. Take note of if your scan was morning or later, before or after toilet, before or after eating. If your second scan is completed under different conditions, your results will be skewed.
- Don’t leave the carpark until you receive your scan report to your email
While the scan takes 60 seconds to complete, the email might take five minutes to come to your email. Please make sure you receive this before leaving as if it fails for some reason i.e. (You moved during your scan, had baggy clothes, had hair on your neck) we would need you to come back, so best to wait for the email, check over it and make sure there are no blank numbers before leaving. - More info on the 3D scan process on our website
There is a detailed FAQ section on our website on the 3D scan, but key points are, you do the scan alone, you lock the room behind you and only you see the 3D image. The gym receives the measurements and outline only. - The first weigh in is on our scales, you then do the other weigh ins from home, until the last week
On your first day, you will jump on our scales, and then our 3D scan machine. The weeks after that, you will use your home scales and log them into our challenge portal, until the last weigh in. Different scales can show different weights, so you might notice inaccurate drop in weight from week 1 to week 2 so it is good to take note of your weight on your home scales on day 1 (just for your own benefit). Club Fitness members can weigh in on our scales each week or you can purchase a key tag ($50) to use the scales during the duration of the challenge. - The challenge portal
The challenge portal is where you will log your weight each week, please try and use the same email as you used when entering the challenge when setting up your logging at https://portal.clubfitness.co.nz We will log your first weigh in so you will not need to use the challenge portal until your second weigh in. - Join our private Facebook group

- Take your own photo We do not take your photo but strongly encourage you to do so, or if while you are at the gym and would like us to take a photo on your phone, please ask. If not, please do so at home as it will be another way for you to see your hard work!
- Please set a profile photo in the challenge portal In week two, when you go to log your weight into the challenge portal, please upload a profile photo so our leaderboard has faces to names and does not look bare.
- Tell us if you are doing this with friends, or work, and would like a custom leaderboard In addition to the full leaderboard with all other challenge participants, if you are doing this with a group and would like your own leaderboard for just your friends/colleagues, let us know the names, group name and company logo if a company. These custom leaderboards are private to the members.
- There is still time to convince a friend to join 95% of people who join a health plan finish it if they do it with a friend, compared to 65% of people who go alone. We still have time to have a friend join you on this journey. Send them to our website to join up!
